Explore the many wonders of nature on Lake Ouachita one of the cleanest lakes in the country.  Nestled in the hills of the Ouachita National Forest, where no homes are allowed, Lake Ouachita has approximately 1000 miles of shoreline and over 200 islands where you can find your own private beach for your houseboat vacation.

Lake Ouachita is part of one of the largest crystal veins in the world.  A Scuba Diver's Haven with crystal clear water featuring rare jellyfish (non-stinging) and sponges found in very few of the cleanest freshwater lakes.  Check out the dive shop on  Lake Ouachita.

World class striped bass and hybrid bass abound on Lake Ouachita as do most types of freshwater fish.  Whether you're a serious fisherman or just out to show the kids how to fish, it doesn't matter.  The houseboat vacation is perfect for either.  Imagine casting your line right outside your door.
